Step 1 - Nomination

- Login here using credentials you get on your email
- Complete the form

Step 2 – Shortlisting and payment
- Startups will be shortlisted by VCCircle and the partner institute
- Shortlisted startups will be informed via email/call and payment link will be shared
- Shortlisted startups will make the payment as per category -
- Unfunded and bootstrapped (revenue < INR 10 cr) – Rs. 15,000/- + GST
- Angel and seed funded – Rs. 25,000/- + GST
- Series A funded and higher – Rs. 51,000/- + GST
- Participation will be confirmed via email once payment is received
- Startups who don't get shortlisted will be informed via email/call and will get a 50% discount offer on the community

Step 3 – Mentoring and Final Pitch
- Online group sessions by the partner institute/VCCircle to make you pitch-ready
- Final pitching session at the partner institute
- Networking opportunity with investors at the event

- Invitation to join the Xartup community will be shared via email
- Join our lifetime community of like-minded entrepreneurs

What happens after I submit my nomination?
Once your nomination is received, our team will review it. If shortlisted, you will be contacted for further steps, including details about the payment process.

How are the startups shortlisted for pitching?
Post receiving the nominations, our team along with the partner institute, will verify the information received and perform due diligence. Shortlisted startups will be subsequently informed via email/call.
*For higher chances of getting shortlisted it is advised that you submit the pitch deck at the time of nomination submission

Is there a fee to participate?
There is no fee to nominate your startup. However, in case your startup is shortlisted, payment process will be shared with you to confirm your participation.

Can I update my nomination details after submission?
You cannot update your nomination details after submission, so please fill in the form carefully. However, if you've spotted a critical error, please reach out to us at thepitch@vccircle.com. We'll do our best to assist you.

How long is the pitch session?
Each startup typically has 15-20 minutes to present their pitch, followed by a Q&A session with the investors.

What should I include in my pitch deck?
Your pitch deck should include an overview of your business, market opportunity, product or service details, business model, go-to-market strategy, financial projections, and team information.

How will my pitch be evaluated?
The best startup will be evaluated based on the aggregate score achieved across 2 criteria: Business model and Presentation skills.

Will my pitch be confidential?
We ensure that all pitches are handled with confidentiality and respect. Only the panel of investors will have access to your pitch materials.

Can I present a pitch remotely?
No, all pitches will have to be delivered in person to ensure direct interaction and engagement with the panel.

What happens after the event?
After pitching, the investors that have shown interest to connect with the startup, those startups will be notified. They can then take the conversation offline.

Can I attend the event as an audience member?
No, you cannot attend the pitching sessions as an audience member, as they are confidential.

What happens if I cannot attend the event?
If you are unable to attend, please inform us in advance. We will conduct pitching sessions across the country. We will notify you regarding the other destinations and accommodate you. However, please note that travel costs will be borne by you only.

Can I reapply if I am not shortlisted?
Yes, you are welcome to reapply for future editions of The Pitch Event.
